Since this is the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter, the guys over at Capcom planned a series of tournaments which would actually have players be qualified for games such as Street Fighter x Tekken, Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the last and main event at San Francisco, California.

The event at Austin will be the first qualifier for the 25th Anniversary Tournament.  The great part about this event is that it is completely free, the only thing you have to do is pay a $20 registration fee (which you get refunded when you show up at the tournament).  Each event will be capped at 256 players, so if you want a spot you’re going to have to register quick.  Also, because this is the 25th Anniversary of a legendary game (if you haven’t caught on, it’s a game called Street Fighter) Capcom will be giving out goodies such as a free 25th Anniversary T-shirt to everyone at the venue.

To get more info on the venue, rules, etc they are all included when you sign up for the tournament on this site.  And for anyone who cant attend the event, iPlayWinner has already announced that they are having a stream with the help of Team Spooky and will be having more streams for future events for the anniversary.
